Storage & Use of Soaps

We always recommend a patch test of all our products, please stop use immediately if you feel any discomfort or irritation.

All our handmade soaps are made in small batches and the images displayed on the website are for the general representation of the product, due to the artisanal nature and method of making of the products, it is possible that that one batch may or may not look similar to the next, and even two bars of the same batch may look different, hence the handmade soap sent to you might look different to the image of the soap on the website, but it contains the same goodness! we believe that beauty is all about being unique!

Our testing shows that the soaps, when stored correctly, last over three years, actually become milder, and retain all of their skin-loving qualities! However, for fragrance purposes, we recommend using the soap within eight to twelve months, after which the colours and scents fade.

Unlike most commercially available soaps, which undergo chemical processing, ours are crafted from oils and butters; therefore, they will not be extremely hard

For optimal storage conditions, keep it in a cool, dry, and shaded area. Soaps should be dried off by placing them on well-ventilated soap dishes in between uses to get the most out of them. You might also consider using a soap saver, that doubles as a soap use optimizer and a gentle exfoliant!
